Plz Help! 980ti in Fractal Design R5, Noctua D15 and 5 high airflow case fans. Budget 1-1.5k

Hi,

I need help in building a gaming computer with a rather tight budget. I am playing in 4k. I noe that 970 is a bit weak for that, and 980 is not that worth the performance. Also, I particularly want a Fractal Design R5 and Noctua D15. I mainly play FPS like BF, COD, Far Cry, Metro, CSGO(overkill), GTA, Bioshock. Please help me suggest a build. Thank you friends from the virtual world :)

I mean, sounds like you already know what your doing. Do you need us to decide which processor you should get or..? As for your graphics cards, r9 390 is really your only option in that budget range for 4k gaming..GL FREN :D

i need help on the rest. cuz i am a bit on the fence when it comes to z97 or z170. Also I am on a rather tight budget, but i am willing to spend max 2k, but wish to have spare to buy other things.

I know you want the noctura, i dont think its worth the money. I chose win7 pro cause its free to upgrade to 10 if you wanted to. 1000w psu in case you want another 980ti for sli in the future. you only need 1 more fan really, a nice quiet one, doesnt matter which so i grabed a popular one. keyboard and mouse dont matter, so i just grabed the cheap one. the monitor is a pretty good price i like that one. gl!

Thanks, but I do not need keyboard or mouse. Overall, I quite like it. Thanks. Now I just have to mull over Z97 or Z170

oh ya, forgot to say. you dont even need a cpu cooler unless your overclocking with intel cpus. they come with quiet enough fans and good enough heatsinks that do the job well. But it seems like your concerned with appearances so i included a sexy one anyway.

MisterJ,

Just wondering what build can you recommend me if I stretch the budget to 1.5k to 1.8k. CPU Cooler: Noctua D15 Storage: Samsung EVO 850 250GB + WesternDigital Black 1tb Case: Fractal Design Case Fans: 5 Fans which provide superb airflow ODD: Cheap on will do

Just wondering what other case fans are good? Would Noctua A15 fans be good?

But in your opinion, what cpu cooler and cpu case fan is the best? cuz I intend to buy it once and not change it for two cycles if possible.

Also, which monitor for 144hz do you recommend? 1080p will be fine. I am trying out things
