Can someone come up with a $500 build for me? Gaming focused, form factor and color scheme i dont care about, as long as it looks nice and performs well.

Does it have to include the operating system and peripherals?

I realize that the storage is a bit low on this machine, but I'd like to point out that a lot of people wildly overestimate how much storage they need, and for them it would be better to get a small SSD and small hard drive in tandem for faster performance. Put the OS and applications on the SSD and use the hard drive for everything else.

If you don't care about upgrading, I propose this one instead. Ignore the compatibility warning because the case has adapters included.

Would this do better because of the 380? I may go with the skylake build that super suggested

Yes. It scores about 40% better on benchmarks than the GTX 950 and the CPU is also more powerful. The drawback is that it has less upgrade options.

The PSU should also probably be changed since it's cutting things a tad close. I suggest the EVGA 100-W1-0500-KR . It's only a little more expensive than the 430 in the list I suggested and has more room to breathe.
