Which one should I get? Are the difference in air flow between the two cases significant?

Watch this maybe it will help you make up your mind :)

I would say for having enough room for future expansion/airflow the R4 would be better

I bought the Arc Midi R2 because it came with three 140mm fans vs two on the R4. Also, it was on sale for $64.99.

I'm very happy with the cooling in it. I know the only advantage of the R4 would be it will run a little quieter, but I'd rather have my components run cooler and last longer than a few less decibels of noise.

Fractal R4 w/ window, It's awesome ;) also consider replacing the ASUS sabertooth with the ASUS Z87-Pro, then you can drop the Wireless Network Adapter and save a bit, The PSU is overkill for the system a 600W would suffice unless you plan to SLi. Finally get a HDD because SSD have a limited amount of uses, you want to set the OS on the SSD and leave the rest on HDD.
