1440p - Dual Display Build Possible (£1,500)

Hello!

Right. I'm looking to build a new Desktop which will be light gaming, video editing, music, programming/coding and multitasking - and basics (email, fb, ect). I'm still using an old system with Vista (yes you read that right) and Chrome's about to be killed off in a few months and I've been wanting to upgrade in years. 4K's a dream but not at this budget I'd say.

Purchase Date; - Within the next few months

Location: UK/GB

Budget Range; £1,000-£1,500 GBP

System Usage; Gaming (GTA V 1440p), live streaming, YouTube and web programming ect

Monitor(s): 1440p Needed - I've 2x 23" 1080's right now. However, the Monitors are 'add-on' and not in this budget but feel free to link some nice 1440p displays if possible (Dual around 23")

OS; Windows 10 Pro (again, doesn't have to be included in the budget)

Preferences; I've always used Intel so would be nice to stick to Intel

Overclocking: Y (don't mind as long as newbie friendly!)

Water cooling Ideally I'd like this with like dyed fluid but never done watercooling builds before only fans, was told I'd be best with sealed-never-to-touch cooled parts?

Other Peripherals No thanks! Got all this stuff new boxed ready to plug and play.. one day! :-)

Additional comments I've looked at pre-builds on Novatech (+ Custom), CyberPowerSystem and other kinda sites but I believe it will work out cheaper to build it myself (which I've done a few times I'm just not so good at putting parts together lol) I've been told a quad-core i5/i7 will likely suit me best as I did think six core i7 but was told it's kinda pointless for the use.

I'd also like an SSD for the OS and some programs around 500GB (if possible can be a little smaller) and a 1/2TB (no Seagate please) hard-disk drive for data.

(I've also posted on another site's forums but not sure if I can post the link to share what others have also suggested? But I guess I can post the ones I saved from the threads... http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/FlexR/saved

For video editing the 5820k is awesome. It overclocks easily and the Noctua air coolers just rock at keeping those temps down. 16 gb of ram should suit your needs but the more intensive your editing is the more you need. Could go with 32 gb in the future if necessary but this board supports up to 128 gb. Either way you have the room to expand. The ram is 2666 MHz which seems to be the sweet spot for gaming in regards to gains/price. The 980 ti will push 1440p gaming at around 90 fps for most high end games with the .1% frames in the mid 50's. It supports 4 displays. I believe 1 HDMI and 3 DP. Either way it will handle what you need. The EVGA G2 series PSU's are awesome and leaves room to expand in the future while allowing for efficiency now. The NZXT case is awesome and makes cable management a breeze. Good Luck! PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

They look sweet heard some good reviews about them before, GTA V would play at 1440p (on one display - second Twitch)?

Awesome.

The Asus GTX970 4gb Strix is on offer with "Asus GTX970 4gb Strix + 240gb SSD + Far Cry Primal + The Division = £291.99" is that good? Then just purchase an extra single for 2x or is this not the same card you mentioned?
