Yet another 1080p gaming post but...NO BUDGET

No budget whatsoever as I will be buying parts one by one, paycheck by paycheck. Not looking for 5960x and 4x SLI 980tis.

Just want a computer that can run GTA V, FO4 or any other AAA game at high-ultra settings. I do want a nice matte black/red colour scheme.

This is gonna be just for gaming. I am also comfortable in going with a cheap $200 GPU and later upgrading to pascal/polaris. As I said, I will be buying parts one by one so probably going to buy GPU last.

Location is Canada. Just need a mechanical keyboard with MX browns. OS is needed as well.

Again, please do not go crazy with the price. I am looking for different options I can go with and something that fits my needs without spending wayy too much. Not a fanboy of anything.

alright...say if I was to wait for pascal but still wanted to play games at decent settings (medium) until then. What GPU would you recommend?

The minimum I would go is the 750ti. I agree with Shark, 380>950>370.

Look for corsair or ducky keyboard. They look great and nice to use IMO.

couple questions.

  1. Is skylake worth it? If yes, what is a good mobo that can OC that non-k chip. I've seen people here do it.
  2. 390>970. Is that true? If yes, which 390 would you recommend?
  3. I was wondering if I can put the S340 in there as I like the looks of it. Thoughts?
  4. I do like the STRAFE however, I find that the G710+ might be a better option.

The OC of non-k chips will likely be shut down if it hasn't been already.
