$1500 Build For Music Production

MVRIOS

What I want:

Really good RAM (maybe 32GB). Really good CPU. White/Black Build. Win 10 Home.

What I don't want:

Sound Card (already have an external). Keyboard - Mouse - Monitor.

Also: I have an external hdd so no need to put 2TB or something. 1TB is fine. And I live in Greece

Thanks a lot.

I don't know how the prices correlate to greece, but this Quad-channel X99 build with a 40-pcie lane 5930K should be about optimum.. The Dual-DVI basic GT 610 video card should be enough for powering even the biggest of displays..

The Asus X99-A/3.1 is a particularly brilliant M'board..

Do check out the Fantastic White-themed Case, cpu cooler, even the RAM is a High-perf Silvery white..

A little under budget, that could go towards a better GPU, or a better motherboard.

Graphics card is not important at all on a music production build. Both builds look good.

Before I give you my build advice, tell me what software you'll be using and how many VST's will you be running at once? X99 may be overkill but if you are doing large orchestral sets, x99 may not be enough as well as 16Gb of RAM.

Some of the big time guys actually use multiple computers (master and slave) since realtime playback can bring most systems to thier knees.
