Motherboard for 4820k?

Hello,

I looked up 4820k in youtube and watched a review and the guy said that if your motherboard isn't updated to the latest bios you have to buy another 2011 cpu in order to install it!

Is this motherboard: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asrock-motherboard-x79extreme4m updated to the latest bios?

Thank you.

For the moment only this motherboard have native IVB-E support. http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-motherboard-x79deluxe

But I know the other Asus motherboards can update to latest BIOS without a CPU insert.

No, only Asus has that feature with the X79 boards. I know the other constructors will release new motherboards with native support by the end of the month.
