Heat sink + fan or liquid cooling

Is a heat sink and fan (such as the one listed below) enough for my gaming build or do I need to get a liquid cooling cpu cooler such as the Corsair H100i? (not overclocking)

If you're not overclocking why are you going with a 4770k? save yourself the $30 and get the 4770. Or if your just gaming with it, something with less cores?
