I had bought a power supply of 430w but my system needs 350, I'm only worried because I feel like I'm going to push that power supply every time I want to play a game and I think that will eventually burn it out. Should I be fine or do I need to worry?

If you're really overpowering your PSU a bit, even higher quality ones than that, lifespan will decrease. So take that as you will.

What is your system's specs?

Pretty medium power

Intel i5 4460

AsRock H97m

EVGA GTX 960 4GB

WD Blue 1TB HDD

8GB Ram 1600mhz (I do plan to upgrade to 16GB)

Corsair CX430M

The part picker told me I needed 350w and recommended this to me.

It should be OK.

Psu's reach peak efficiency at about 50% load, which should be about where you would be while gaming. Any decent power supply will hold up fine at rated power.

It's not a great psu, but it is decent and you shouldn't expect any problems with it.
