PC for low level Graphics Design/Gaming

chariot

I have a part list but I wanted more opinions on it: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/xKDyvK

I am wondering if there are other parts that may be cheaper but the same quality or if there are things I should consider upgrading with out costing too much. Nothing over 950$. Thanks a lot.

Do you already own the Graphics Card?

Do you have any plans to over-clock the CPU in the future?

I do not own the graphics, so I don't know why it isnt showing the price. I also don't see an advantage of me over clocking(not really needed for what I'm trying to do) so no I don't want to OC

It can be $100 cheaper if you go with a 380x instead which is probably better.

Weird part choices. Why a NEX PSU, a CD ROM, 16gb of RAM, an i7, a CPU cooler, and a b85 mobo?

Why not the GQ or a better quality one? Or a better case and motherboard. Or an SSD? What graphic design programs utilize hyper threading? Or the 16gb of RAM?
