This is my current first ever gaming build. I'm not sure if I'm going to overclock just some friends said I might need more like a 500 or 600w psu instead of my current 430w. Do I need a higher watt? I'm on a budget so if I don't need it I don't want it. Thanks

You have the option to go 500W, however I don't feel that it would be very needed. My friend has a 4790K and 960 on that same power supply, works perfectly, even while OC'ed a little (4.6GHz). Side note: Thermal compound (especially AS5) is unneeded in most situations. AS5 specifically is mediocre for it's price.

A higher quality psu might help you get a little bit of a higher oc, but other than that you don't really have a reason to.

You dint have to.

But i would go 550 watt G2 juat for piece of mind.

Also, asus GPUs MIGHT get pretty hot.
