4-pin connectors

I am going to get this power supply:

one thing I note it is missing that most others list is 4-pin peripheral connectors. What are these actually used for? Will I suffer for a lack of them?

no idea what you mean what you mean by 4 pin peripheral connectors. peripherals should be connecting through usb or jacks if they are audio devices. the only 4 pin connector you will be using is a 4 pin cpu power connector (most today are 8, but some chipsets use 4. some cpu power conenctor on psu's are also 4/8 pin which is really convenient

I think he means MOLEX connectors. He'll be fine without them (unless he wants to use an IDE drive or something).

yeah i thought about that shortly after, he may need one or two if he wants to add some extra fans
