Video editing, Revit, light gaming build

Hello All,

I am having a hard time piece together my first computer build. I am in college and will be using this computer for the next few years. I will be using this computer for video editing,Revit, light gaming and in the future will be using 3D animation programs lightly. Like I said only games I'd play would be halo wars 2, star citizen, Sid Meiers, and gta.

I have been researching for the last few weeks and haven't been able to even make up my mind on the processor. I have been looking at Xeon varieties,i7 6700k, i7 5820k (more cores) or the i5 6600k ( way cheaper but still seems decent).

For graphics cards I am not sure if I should go the PNY quadro route or the regular mainstream gaming gpus.

I live in the U.S. Budget is around 800-1000 Need OS Do not need mouse, keyboard or monitor.

My main concern is that I don't want to go overboard since I am a student and professors more than likely will not give students work that can only be completed on time with top of the line computers, thoughts or experiences from any one ?

I'd down the cooler to the Gammax 200, same effect for much less price. Money saved goes to a better PSU and case.

Also, the GPU you have selected is overpriced.

that gpu has 2 fans and wont be ultra loud, worth the bit of cash for a long time of cooler and quieter use
