So i was wondering, is it recommended to use a psu for at least 24 hours before judging whether or not it is good? like do you have to break it in? Also if that is the case will it help reduce the noise coming from the PSU?

No you don't have to do anything like that at all.

What psu do you have? What noise is it making?

I have the corsair rmx 750, it quiet but I am hearing some noise from my GTX 980 MSI edition, but it not like cool whine it's just noise whenever I play something intensive if that makes sense

Noise that is not from a fan on a gpu that only happens when it is under load is 99% of the time is coil whine.
