$2,000 (Freedom Dollars) Build

Hello! Its me again! :P

So In October, I plan on treating myself to a birthday and I want it to be special because its not just any old birthday, its my 18th. :D

If there is one thing that I'm bad at though, is picking out parts for builds with large budgets, I tend to overspend in certain areas where I should'nt.

So I'm asking my fellow partpickers what they can come up with to help me. :)

  • Budget: $2,000 for the PC, and Ill go $500 and no more for the Peripherals. So total of $2,500
  • Location: New York, USA
  • Use (Gaming, Rendering, etc): Gaming, Streaming, web browsing, typing
  • Peripherals required (monitor, keyboard/mouse, etc): Monitor (1080p only, Ultra wide is fine), Keyboard and mouse, headset.
  • Operating System required: Yes, Windows 10 Home or Pro is fine, 64 Bit.

Notes:

For this build I kinda want it to be special, so Im looking for some parts to be "unique" in a way, ones I dont see too much. So like Xeons, Broadwell i7s, or anything you think you dont see much (Please no AMD CPUs at this price point). Same with GPU, for Example, GTX 690, Titan Black, R9 390X2 or anything you think you dont see much.

Please, no water cooling.

Lastly, I would like it to be in the Thermaltake Core V21.

Thank you VERY much for the help! :)

How about this?

I incorporated the Titan X and used the Kingston Savage SSD which is just as good if not better than the 850 EVO in some areas.

Went with some peripherals I used to own before wqhich I know are good and will work great to go along with the build.

Its a possibility with that budget.

Its likely overkill but on this site, overkill means nothing which is why I went for a 144hz monitor at least.

I just changed the monitor and upped the SSD to a 500GB. The monitor was changed because the other one had red on it. This build is entirely black and blue except the graphics card having a little red on it.

I just edited that bit in the post. This is the only 390X2 on here. :( lol

TBH, I really just like the 390X2 for the looks, it looks EPIC taking up 3 slots and is one of the longest cards on the market.
