Request guidance: Asus M5A99X EVO R2.0 & EVGA SuperNOVA 750 P2 PSU

Got all my parts ordered for my first build except the PSU. I am considering an EVGA SuperNOVA 750 P2 80+ PLATINUM, 750W

My motherboard is an Asus M5A99X EVO R2.0. I will be using an Asus GeForce GTX 960 2GB Video Card.

I have compared the motherboard schematic from the manual to as much as I can find online for the PSU and they appear compatible. However this is my first build and there is much I don't know about the details/gotchas of matching a PSU to a motherboard & video card.

I would appreciate any guidance you might offer. Extra credit if you have actually used this PSU with this motherboard.

Thanks! m9ke

Everything will work fine. Nothing to worry about.

But I wouldn't go with that power supply. It's one of the best power supplies, but is a bit pricey. Go with the G2.

Thank you johngerges582. I will check out the G2!
