Aircooler for i5 6600k

Hello! Please help me find a good cpu cooler for the i5 6600k there's many options to choose but I can't make my mind for it. I'm not going liquid cooling cause I'm afraid of the water leakage. Just for gaming and some lite overclocking.

Most AIOs have a very small chance of leakage. I'd get a Cryorig H7.

Just built a rig in the past week using an H7 on my 6600k and I'm very happy. Only have it clocked to 4.4Ghz at the moment but I haven't broken 70 degrees under several load tests

Unless you're trying to do AIDA64 with stress FPU enabled 24/7 with a vacuum of a case inside an oven the thing should last longer than your storage will under the temps it will run at. Temps will be fine.

OCing also depends on what mobo u have, a good one like the ASUS MAXIMUS Hero or the MSI Gaming M7 which have a better VRM (Voltage Regulator Module) with more number of cpu power phases will allow you to OC more.. The NH-U14S will surely help u reach a 4.5 GHz..

See this dude on PCPartpicker here with an i5-6600K/NH-U14S easily approach 4.5 GHz.. https://pcpartpicker.com/b/xTLD4D

If you are not going for the 4.5 range, you can get a decent air cooler like the H7 or the Hyper Evo 212. They are used a lot, but it is for a reason. If you're going yard on the oc, then you would need to get something along the lines of the R1 or the Noctua NH-U14S and up. Noctua coolers aren't pretty, but they get the job done quite well. Go to newegg.com and search in your price range.

Well I'm not really into overclocking maybe I'm gonna get the Hyper Evo 212 or the H7 but which is better Hyper 212 Evo or the Hyper 212 x?

The new fan is supposed to last longer but produce the same temperature results as the evo. The specs are almost identical from their site except when it comes to fan life expectancy. If you are down to the two of them go with the X. Dual fan configuration for push-pull is only $44.
