Basically can a 12 inch by 10.7 inch Eatx motherboard fit at all. The holes are the same but it extends right 1.1 inches. I think this is much too far for the grommets to work but it may be able to fit the angle that the grommets are built onto. Also what other options are there to run cables if the grommets are completely covered?

Not got one, was looking into same as I was thinking of picking up the glass and using a CEB board so doing some homework on it. looking through complete builds and comments in some such as: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/b/wNM8TW suggests it works, but partially covers up the grommets. You would likely need to put in the thicker 24 pin before laying down the board.
