So im doing a new build and dont really want to buy windows again and im planning on selling my old pc so i can move it over right?

Can i just put in my old hdd and it work?

If not how would i go about moving it over?

Look at your ProductID. If it contains OEM, that is the version.

You'd want a fresh installation of Windows if you're using different hardware.

You'll have to ask elsewhere about 'moving it over'.
