Thoughts on this psu?

I know NZXT makes some quality things, but this is the first time I see a psu from them, and 550W and fully modular for 65$ is really hard to beat. Let me know what you think about it. Have a great day

It's not the best you can get, but it is not bad. Mediocre or average.

What does meh mean? If you dont mind my asking, its 80+ bronze certified, so i dont think its a terrible psu.

Just because a PSU is bronze, silver, or gold does not make it good. Rate the PSU by it's design not by it's efficiency. The Hale82 is not something I would recommend for a gaming rig with say a 380. The build quality isn't "bad", but it's not good either especially with their soldering not being good as well.

Nothing wrong with most the CX series, save for the 700W

The CX series is pretty low end. It'll always work fairly well, but it's not amazing. Look at the hardocp review, and also the PSU tier list (it's tier 4)

I have, the whole line has gotten very good reviews save for the CX750W.

Don't believe what you have heard.

Now, their are better units for the around the same price as most of these, but that does not make then "low end".
