Is my EVGA 650W Gold+ GQ the culprit ?

I overclocked my CPU to 4.5 Hz with 1.3 Voltage. And GPU to Core clock:1350 Mhz with Memory clock: 1980MHz Did some benchmark and my GPU driver crashes unexpectedly while the benchmark was going smooth. Is it because my PSU is too weak ?

The problem is your overclock, not the PSU.

No, Why would it be weak... The GQ is a good unit and you have headroom left even if you overclock everything to the max.

Probably the problem is your overclock..

But it's not BSOD or freezing. It just my Nvidia driver crashed and then resetted back. I check 3Dguru and the max overclock for this beast is 1505Mhz. Ofcourse I know every card is different. But a 1350 Mhz core clock is wayyyy too low. There must be something wrong. Help me please =(

Try this settings

Ive had several issues with nvidia drivers so i stop updating, I have 358.91 which has been stable so far.

You can use DDU to remove all drivers and roll back to an older driver

I found out when OCing my GPU that overclocking the memory seemed to make the GPU core clock more unstable not to mention its not the most impressive performance gains anyways.

You probably just got a less-good card. Happens all the time. Not the PSU at all. If it was the PSU, the whole PC would shut off, not drivers crashing.

Alright guys, so i settled with a 1323 Mhz Core clock with 1918 Memory clock which I partly satisfied. Thanks for your tips.
