Can anyone give me a solution or recommend any medium to high end skylake motherboard with 3 usb 2.0 slots. I need 1 USB 2.0 header for my case. 1 for my h100i. and 1 for my NZXT Hue+.

I was trying to avoid something like that. Any skylake boards with 3 usb 2.0s perhaps?

Yeah, it does cost a little bit. I don't know of any boards with 3, but I am currently looking for one for you.

You can use a PCI-e USB card that has an internal header, like this one, or use a USB 3.0 to USB 2.0 internal header adapter.

pcie things are not very attractive imo and why would I want to convert one of my usb 2.0 headers to a 3.0?

No, that converts USB 3.0 to a USB 2.0 header

I have never seen one of those before though. I didn't know they existed.
