Water cooler for a NZXT Vulcan

Sync

Hey guys,

Looking to build my first proper gaming rig with a good size budget, the only small problem I have now is where to fit a water cooler for my CPU on the case. Preferably I don't want to resort to using the front 120mm fan. I was wondering if it was possible to fit a 240mm rad on top, and having that cool the CPU. Or if there are any easier solutions than this.

Regards and thanks for any helpful replies.

If you have a good size budget, why the Vulcan?

Considering I'll be taking it to LANs and that I've bought it, I'm stuck with it now -^ (Not that it's a bad thing)

Without modding, I doubt a top 240mm cooler would fit.

You will have to use the front fan. I would get a water cooler, and do a Push/Pull setup for maximum performance.

Thanks,

I've heard around that a H100i could fit on top, without the handle (and albeit very close to the mobo, with a tight fit).
