Hyper 212 Evo for an i5/i7

Hi!

So I am going to build a pc, with a i5 6600k or a i7 6700k(still need to think of it). I am on a pretty tight budget so I do wanna upgrade to a aio cooler later on. I don't want to overclock right now with this cooler, but would the hyper 212 evo keep my i5 or i7 cool under a gaming load? Or if not, could you recommend a cheap cooler for under 30-40 euros?

Thanks a lot!

In gaming, not overclocked, I'd say yeah. Though if you are tight on budget there is nothing wrong with an i5 and then you can spend the saved $100 on an AIO straight away.

for video and photo editing the i5 isn't as good as an i7

For anything an i5 isn't as good as an i7; you do understand that is why it costs more right? The i7 is better.

An i5 will be suitable for any of those -- including video and photo editing.
