Keep old PSU, or keep new PSU

Old one: Antec Earthwatts EA-650 (650W)

Ordered another, don't know why.

New one: Corsair CX500M (500W, and semi-modular). Unopened in box, could return back to newegg.

Does one have a better reputation, and is the semi-modular feature worth it? The system is at 328W, so either should work fine wattage wise.

Hem, haw... Steve

should have mentioned that the Antec is about 5-6 years old. Probably makes a difference...

Hi Steve, I just got my Corsair CX500M power supply the other day, and it's on the computer I am posting this on right now. Got it for quite a discount on sale plus promo code and hopefully the $20 rebate. It's working great.

I also replaced an older Antec Power Supply, but it was only 380 watts and this one is 500 watts, so more room to grow.

I really like the modular design of it as my cable management is much neater now.

These Corsair power supplies are very good units. This is the second one I bought. My first one is the CX430M. You cannot go wrong with them. They are just as reliable as Antec in my humble option.
