Will it fit? Case/vcard compatability

Im planning to buy my first pc using a Thermaltake Versa N21 case ( https://pcpartpicker.com/product/xzNypg/thermaltake-case-ca1d900m1wn00 ) with a gigabyte 960 4GB g1 gaming video card ( https://pcpartpicker.com/product/bhqbt6/gigabyte-video-card-gvn960g1gaming4gd ) .....

Now here's the catch: compatability according to the site says it a NO. But i was kinda wondering (just by looking at the online pics of the N21 case) i think it is possible to fit the gtx 960 in it .. But its just me saying(estimate) coz i wont be using some of those bays that are directly in front of the v-card slot.

I need some of your advice and sharp eyes sir/maam. I need help in this one badly. I hope to hear from you guys.. Thanks

I'm guessing it would be okay... But I'm not sure. Judging by the pictures, i don't see why it wouldn't. This guy (https://pcpartpicker.com/b/xKvV3C) fit a gpu that's bigger than the recommended length and it seems like it has extra room. My gut says it would be okay but I would do more research if I were you. Odd that a "gaming" ATX case would have a gpu length restriction of 9 inches.

The GPU is almost 2" longer than the case supports.

Sometimes you can put a GPU accepting is can lean a bit on the HDD but in this case I dont think that will be possible.
