I am trying to figure out whats best. I will be putting a case fan on my case in there for good measure. But will my stock cooler with a new fan keep the CPU cool? Or should I invest into a better cooler?

My socket is FM2+.

Skip spending money on a case fan(s) and put money toward a better cooler.

Always a good idea to invest in a better cooler. More heat dissipation (larger fin area) and larger fans = better cooling, and lower noise. What cpu are you running?

If you want something that does the job, check out the Cryorig M9a. Cheap, small, and is both better at cooling and quieter than the 212 EVO

The problem with that is i will probably be switching processors from AMD to Intel. After getting a new motherboard. So it wont work for me

Not sure. But I just realized that 212 evo wont fit, so can u suggest something that is smaller and has FM2+ socket?

If you can fit it, I'd look at the H7 from Cryorig.
