So I recently got the D-15 cooler and I was wondering if there would be any suggestions on fans to change for a black and red or white and red color. I love the performance of Noctua just hate their brown on tan color.

Here's the redux version of the fans. Similar performance different look: http://pcpartpicker.com/product/xs6BD3/noctua-case-fan-nfp14sredux1200pwm

Noctua's aside, the Cryorig XF140 is the outstanding fan used on the higher-end Cryorig units: http://pcpartpicker.com/product/V3fp99/cryorig-case-fan-crxfa

Thanks! I do have a question. the Redux version do they have vibration mounts at all? I might want to use them for my case also. Otherwise does Cryorig have a dbA chart. I just really don't like a lot of sound so i really like that the fans are lower than 20dbA.

The NH-D15 runs at 38.6dBA at full speed, so the cryorigs of redux fans, despite showing a louder rating than the original fans, will run just as quiet if not quieter.

Noctua and cryorig are pretty much top notch for quiet cooling. Them and Be Quiet hold the records for consumer cooling fans.

But at what distance, though?

I have the Cryorig R1 and I swapped the fans out for Phantek PH-F140 HP just for idle speed quietness. They happen to be white / Red.

checkout my build and you can see them installed.

They are really, really quiet at idle and at load I think they are about the same as the Cryorig 140s, just a different tone.
