Hello everyone. I have been searching for the best RGB LED to fit my needs. I don't need a kit because I will be going with the ASUS VIII Hero motherboard. But I have no Idea which strip to get. I would like a multi color stip with Red, Blue and White at least. I think on the ASUS hero there are 2 RGB Plug-ins? not to sure but any help would be awsome. Thank you in Advance.

Its the Hero Alpha model rather then the regular Hero that comes with the 2 RGB LED plug in's.

Basically it will use any 12v 5050 LED strip, which can be brought off amazon in meters for a few £ / $ Something like this for example: https://www.amazon.co.uk/XKTTSUEERCRR-Submersible-Complete-Waterproof-Underwater/dp/B00YEBXG8E/ref=sr_1_81?ie=UTF8&qid=1471613827&sr=8-81&keywords=5050+led+strip+lights

The board itself will come with two connector cables.

Ah so the hero alpha will come with RGB plug in's and the hero will just come with 2 connectors for the RGB LED strip. Will I need any additional components? Also thank you for the reccomendation

No, the standard ASUS VIII Hero (https://www.asus.com/uk/Motherboards/MAXIMUS-VIII-HERO/) does not come with any headers or connector cables,

The ASUS VIII Hero Alpha (https://www.asus.com/uk/Motherboards/ROG-MAXIMUS-VIII-HERO-ALPHA/) is the one that comes with two headers (the two white ones to towards the bottom of the board) along with the two connector cables. The connector cables that come bundled with the Hero Alpha will connect the board to the 5050 LED strip an example of which I linked.
