nice build!, those power supplies are probably good enough but the best advice is to never cheap out or go anything to low
http://pcpartpicker.com/product/V9bp99/evga-power-supply-100b10600kr
this power supply will give you 600 watts or atleast 80% of that which means you will have a little more head room for overclocking and the thing is dirt cheap right now.
Lets look at the faults in the tier list, keep in mind this is only some, not even all of them and mainly of the most popular units that people buy. I can provide sources for all of them and the author refuses to fix most of these issues, I think most of the vertans users here have tried to get him to fix but he is just too damn stubborn.. Plus its not made by anyone affiliated with Tomshardware, just a random user. Me, you, or anyone could make a tier list there if we chose to.
There is the GS series, not all of them are the same, the 550 and 650 watt ones are worse than the 850 and 1050 watts one.
The rest of the RM series minus the kilowatt ones should be tier two, they aren't that bad.
It has the Evga B1 series and even the W1 series above the CX when the CX is better than them t and somehow has it in the same league as the FSP raider series the CX is actually better than the W1 and I would even say the B1 and the new ones are quite good.
The W1 series should be moved to tier 4 since they are almost/borderlinecrap.
It doesn't differentiate between the new CX series since they use the same name which would be tier two.
It doesn't label which NexG's since the kilowatt one is actually very good
It somehow has the NexB in tier 4 even though there isn't a single review of it out there.
It has the Hyrdo G which I wouldn't call a top of the line unit in with tier 1 although it is still a good unit.
It has the GQ series in tier one but if you ever read a single review of them you would realize that they don't belong their and would be tier two at best.
Also it doesn't show a difference between group regulated and non group regulated PSU's which is a big problem since anything that is group regulated really shouldn't be higher than tier 3 in this day and age.
There is how the PSU's are rated hence a lot of the issues above and ones I probably overlooked since I don't feel like picking the whole list apart.
There is no thing as a PSU suitable or not suitable for gaming, that all depends on the hardware inside.
Its lacking in quite a few new units like the new Corsair CXM, the Corsair SFF, the Seasonic Prime, etc.
Now lets have a look at the Evga B1 and the Corsair CXM
Well, they do have good advice and information but there's yet to be a PSU tier list that is accurate, unbiased, and reliable. I still think the Corsair CX450M is better quality than the EVGA 600B.
Wat...That isn't the CXM in question. Its a totally different unit than the 450 watt one.
Vagabonds info is way off.
How? You have provided ZERO proof while I have linked to two proper professional reviews for the units in question. If you don't beleive me just post in the PSU section and you will get the same results.
The link he put up with the extra good review was for a line only sold in Europe.
And in the U.S if you bother reading the bottom part.
