it's nice for a budget case. I already owned this case for 9 months, recently did a rebuild and gave it away. even at it's price the new P400 is a bit nicer and more functionality. then there is the fact that he can afford a better case straight up.

cut costs? your build is over $2k. the cooler or the $300 SSD seem like obvious things that can be changed without an impact to temps and operation speeds. and I recommend the RMx 650 watt. it has 4 6+2 pin pci-e connectors in case you ever want to get a second 1080 FTW. the card uses 2 6+2 pin.
