First time builder, need help.

Is there anything I can do to make this build better. One thing I was not sure of was if the gtx 1080 turbo was not as good as other 1080's due to the pricing factor. Thanks for any help.

Hey,

Your build looks pretty decent still I tried to make some changes. I think that a GTX 1070 is sufficent for 1080p 144hz but if you insist on getting a GTX 1080 go for it. But maybe consider getting a better aftermarket cooler. I also changed your Monitor to a G-Sync version of the same. If you can afford it, get it. And finally I changed your Keyboard to the Razer Blackwidow Chroma, I have the same one and it's amazing! Chroma is love, Chroma is life.

Yeah if you can go for asus strix version or a dual fan version. The one you selected is a reference design which would be fine but the temps would be better on the dual fan(aftermarket cooler) versions and usually performance is a little better as well

Your build looks nice though I would change the PSU from 650 W to 750 W, there's a 20 dollars difference between both and if you need/want to upgrade in the future it's time and money that you'll save. More over, Razer ''gear'' isn't the best for gaming, yes they're pretty darn sexy. What I mean it's that it is too expensive for what it is, you could get better peripherals for 20-30$ cheaper. For headset i recomend Seinheizer, they have by far the most confortable head gear in the market and their microphone are really good. Good luck !
