is this a gaming build? if so, it's poorly optimized for gaming. looks more of a video editing pc. this is better for gaming and good for light editing: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/tGJL9W

What exactly is this build for? If it's supposed to be for gaming you could do way better for less money. Even for Video editing it's not all that great considering some of the parts choices

  1. What is this for?

  2. Why do you have a sound card? Do you really need it?

  3. Get the NZXT Grid+, its completely digital and it doesn't block your external 5.25 bays.

if this is for very intense rendering and recording, this is pretty good although at this budget you should get a better monitor. if it's not, then its not great.

  1. gaming only needs 16gb or ram max.

  2. For gaming an i5 cpu would be fine but if you really wanted to you could get an i7 6700k, 6800k is way overkill.

  3. With this budget, you can get a gtx 1080.

  4. Why do you have an optical drive?

  5. Sound card is not needed for gaming although some people like it.

  6. definitely go with either a 1440p or 4k monitor on this buddget.
