Looking for advice on parts & reducing total cost.

My birthday is coming up (Oct. 6th) and I'm looking to make the switch from an AMD to an Intel rig. PC will be used for Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects, light CAD with the occasional streaming/gaming thrown in.

The pieces I'm not too sure on are the motherboard, SSD, and CPU Cooler. Could I do alright with a cheaper board? If all I want to put on the SSD is Adobe CC, Windows, Office, and some dedicated games, could I find a cheaper SSD? I've never built a rig with a liquid cooler, is it safe?

Really trying to keep the whole thing around the 1200 mark. However, if I can bring the price down lower it would do wonders for school books in the spring! So please, if there are any cheaper parts that perform as well if not better let me know.

I like the case and if possible would like to keep it in the build. However if you know of other cases like this one or the Phanteks Enthoo Evolv please link them in your reply.

If you are not overclocking, you can go with the locked i7 and H170 or B150 motherboard.

You can get a 275gb ssd which will be fine for what you are doing. You already have a 1tb ssd for data.

The liquid cooler is safe, the chance that it leaks is very remote. You can save a lot with an air cooler and still get a decent overclock.

If you are playing at 1080P, then a GTX 1060 or RX 480 will be perfectly fine and will save you money.
