My birthday is coming up (Oct. 6th) and I'm looking to make the switch from an AMD to an Intel rig. PC will be used for Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects, light CAD with the occasional streaming/gaming thrown in.
The pieces I'm not too sure on are the motherboard, SSD, and CPU Cooler. Could I do alright with a cheaper board? If all I want to put on the SSD is Adobe CC, Windows, Office, and some dedicated games, could I find a cheaper SSD? I've never built a rig with a liquid cooler, is it safe?
Really trying to keep the whole thing around the 1200 mark. However, if I can bring the price down lower it would do wonders for school books in the spring! So please, if there are any cheaper parts that perform as well if not better let me know.
I like the case and if possible would like to keep it in the build. However if you know of other cases like this one or the Phanteks Enthoo Evolv please link them in your reply.
