Budget build for a friend

Hey All,

I am building a rig for a friend of mine who has a limited budget (between $400 and $500). He will not be using the PC for much outside of web browsing, Microsoft office and probably some media streaming/playing. He wanted a small case but still wanted an optical drive. Below is the build i came up with. I would love your thoughts:

if he is doing browsing and stuff the i3 would be good but the fx 6300 can do almost anthig he would want. if he wants to game, stream, and edit this would be good.

and for the price you cant go wrong. for this price it is a great build

if he is just doing every day tasks you dont need an ssd

I disagree with this 100%. Everyday tasks (boot up, application launch, file transfer, etc.) are exactly where SSDs shine. No modern computer ought to suffer through an HDD.

I didnt really mean it that way. I was saying that if your on a budget an ssd is not an option. for 400 - 500 dollars you cant really get a big enough ssd in this range
