  • lose the 120 mm liquid cooler
  • the Gaming M5 isn't a stand out motherboard at it's price
  • the EVGA 650 G2 is every bit as good as the RMx 650 and costs less
  • the P530 is not a great value at it's cost, it's more of a fat mid tower and has only 2 usb I/O like sub 80 pound mids
  • you can get a wireless ac adapter for 20 pounds
  • the GTX 1070 Gaming X is a better version than the G1
  • 2560x1080 monitors don't look great , not enough pixel density

2560x1080 monitors don't look great , not enough pixel density

What? I was at an LG store and saw that exact monitor and it looked really crisp with nice colours. Also it's 75hz and the BENq is only 60hz and that monitor doesn't have that good reviews so if he wants a wide monitor then that's not a bad choice.

Also; he could get a 3440x1440 monitor which would be a better option for an ultrawide motnitor

I've used an LG 2560x1080 and it doesn't look crisp to me. even the icons on the windows desktop are visibly pixelated and look stretched out. indeed 3440x1440 is the only way I would ever go ultra wide (replaced the silly 1080p ultra wide with a AOC 3440x1440) but the cheapest such monitor, which is the exact model I bought it looks like, is 481 pounds. that will bring this build way over the current cost.

and the BENq is only 60hz and that monitor doesn't have that good reviews

look again, it has hundreds of good reviews. has a higher % of perfect score reviews than the monitor in the original list.

I've seen all the reviews for the LG and all have 5 stars and whenever there not the complaint is that the speakers aren't the best but that's small. If you recommend 2560x1440 then go with an asus monitor but if you like benq fine it's all personal taste

I also consider the refresh rate as I hate 60hz makes me a bit nauseous from all the dragging and 75hz is a definite step up

I live in the UK so that PSU would end up cost £125 to get it here
