Hi All,

Looking to build my first real gaming PC... currently rocking an iMac i got cheap when i was a Student....Witcher 3 is my highest spec game in my Steam library so something that comfortably run that.

Undecided on graphics card if i should go 970, 1060 or R9 390 if anyone has any advice, also case is ever changing... torn between Aerosol Cube and Fractal Design Node 804.

Thanks!

I would personally try to buy a processor with a "k" at the end enabling you to overclock the processor if you don't feel like it is powerful enough. the graphic card looks great.

I would recommend having 8GB of ram as most games require 8GB or less. you would only need to get more then 8gb when your wanting to host a sever you can get 2x4 to get 8GB which would make it cheaper or you can put the money into something else.

P.S if your building this your self be prepare to lose a day of your life. when I first built my pc it took me ages. also the manual is your new best friend.

Lol missed out the psu. your wasting money there. the whole build is only using 291W and there would be 100W doing nothing. increasing your electricity bill. this would be fine if your looking to upgrade the computer and the components need more power.

I thought about a K processor for over clocking, going to give overclocking a miss..... at the moment.
