I'm trying to come up with my own PC build. I'm new to doing this and haven't built a PC before. http://pcpartpicker.com/list/Fp6qHN I keep finding bad reviews for every part I would like. I don't want to screw this up. My budget is $1,200. I don't know what power supply and monitor to get.

CPU

Intel Core i5-6500 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor $198.88 Buy Motherboard

MSI B150 Gaming M3 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard $103.48 Buy Memory

Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-3000 Memory $45.98 Buy Storage

Samsung 850 EVO-Series 500GB 2.5" Solid State Drive $157.30 Buy Video Card

EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB SC GAMING Video Card $259.99 Buy Case

Fractal Design Define R5 Blackout Edition ATX Mid Tower Case $89.99 Buy Operating System

Microsoft Windows 10 Home OEM 64-bit $84.88 Buy Total: $940.50

At that budget get a 6600k with a cooler and a z170 Mobo.

How firm is that budget? what are you looking to do with this PC? Gaming? Streaming? what resolution/games/settings?

Only thing I would switch here is get a 1x8GB RAM stick. So you can easily upgrade in the future by just adding another one.
