Just trying to get some opinions of this build curious as to if there is a better option for graphics, as i have heard that the 470 can be finicky to work with. Anyways thanks in advance for the tips, ideas, and opinions. http://pcpartpicker.com/user/ArcadiaSlip/saved/ZGccf7

  • You should change the CPU to one with newer architecture and better performance for the price. This means you will also have to change motherboard and ram to support it.

  • Better power supply

If you have any questions please ask them and I will do my best to answer. If you decide you aren't going to use mail-in rebates just tell me and I can create a different list.

I know that the i3 is not the best for your needs, but it will NOT bottleneck the rx 480 I've chosen. I've also switched the ram, case, psu, and WiFi adapter. Hope you can at least take a look. I believe this is the best bang for your buck.

So thank you very much for the replies, not that this makes much of a difference in price but almost everyone here has changed the wifi dongle so let my explain that part of the build... where i live (rural Oklahoma) our internet speeds don't exceed 150 mbps in all actuality the fastest speeds you can get where i live is around 12 mbps so I don't really think ill need much of a wifi dongle at all... The person im helping would rather not do much on mail in rebate if at all, but a i5 6500 would not get even close to a bottleneck... and would allow him to upgrade his graphics later.... i have some decisions to make i can see thanks allot for the help
