For right now lets say the price range is around $350. I know I need to get more ram for starter but I also need a new psu if I want a new gpu that's better then what I have. I can always grab the ram later and just get the other stuff now. This is the rig I have at the moment.

this list is what you want to buy? Or what you have now and want suggestions on what to change?

Oh, sorry. It's the rig I have right now. I'll add that.

I'd say get an amd rx 480 or 470 if you want to save a little cash, but that is getting a little bit close to your psu's rated limit so you may want to get a 500w or so unit along with it.

There is enough left in the budget to upgrade the processor if you want.

Oh, cool. I was just looking at that card but thought against it since it didn't have a DVI port. I don't use on but I do move my computer around to a friends house and they don't have an HDTV lying around for gaming so I usually use their spare monitor that has a DVI port. I do really like the look of that card.

Updated list.

  • Added new GPU, PSU and more of the same RAM

  • The CPU will undoubtedly bottleneck the RX 470 but it should still be better than the 7770, with the money left over you could maybe get a better CPU.

  • RAM is really slow you could scrap it/sell it and get a much faster 8GB kit for $30, your motherboard supports upto 2133Mhz RAM.

  • Get the cheapest RX 470 you can find they should all perform the same.

Yah I knew that about the CPU when I got it but at the time and even now I wasn't able to find anything in my budget for what I wanted. Thanks for the suggestions. I'll defiantly look into getting better ram. They were bought for size and cost without taking speed into account which I regret now.
