No need for a 1070 in 1080p

Not very balanced atm, I would downgrade to a GTX 1060 6GB and get an SSD and a better power supply.

Is it balanced... For gaming? To be honest, not really.

  • The z170 chipset motherboard is just overkill for gaming when you don't have an unlocked processor. You will be just fine with a b150 or h170 chipset with 4 ram slots.

  • With a build this high in the budget you may as well get an SSD now for the 5 second boots. The ADATA Sp550 is a decent budget 120gb SSD. If you want super high speeds which cost more then a Samsung 850 evo is right.

  • GTX 1070 is simply overkill for 1080p 60fps. An RX 480 or GTX 1060 will be perfect for 1080p 60fps gaming.

  • Although that psu has good reviews on pcpp it doesn't mean it is a good option for this build. You should get one with better power efficiency, semi - fully modular and built with better quality. Atleast a corsair cx450m.
