Time to Upgrade But so Many Options!

I am finally going to upgrade from my current system to something a lot more modern. I've been researching for a couple of weeks and I think I have close to what I want to order but would like some opinions. I will be using it for gaming (at 1920x1080), photo editing (Lightroom & Photoshop), some video editing (Premiere), and some streaming. I keep thinking about going with a 5280k and X99 to get the benefits from 6-cores and extra RAM for video editing and streaming, but I don't think I will do either of those enough to make it worth the extra cost. Gaming wise I am okay with my current specs. I can't play the newest games at the highest settings but I can play what I like at decent settings so this new system should blow me away. I chose a 750w PSU, but I'm wondering if it's overkill. I want this build to last several years and possibly support upgraded graphics along the way. I also tend to spend a little more on the PSU to avoid any issues with power. Looks are not a main priority but I do think I want a case with a window so looks matter somewhat (why i chose the AURA board over the non-AURA board). My budget is around $1500, but cheaper is always better and it will also allow me to buy other upgrades like a desk. I would also like for the build to be good for VR (after an upgrade to the GPU) in the next few years. Thanks for any input!

This looks really great to me, and will perform amazingly well for 1080p 60FPS. Only thing I'd recommend would be to get a 1060 6GB version instead of 3GB.

You're going to be struggling with some games with only 3 GB of VRAM so you're definitely going to want the 6GB model.

For a couple more bucks you can get overkill system that will not need to be upgraded at least in the next 2 years. Here is the list: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/PVWfd6

Thanks for the feedback so far everyone.

@HyperHyper I think the 1070 really is overkill for me right now. I will need a new monitor to take advantage of it and I am going to wait for 4k prices to stabilize before upgrading. That case looks really nice though, I am putting it on my list of cases to look at.
