Compatible PSU With The Cougar QBX Case

Roman_K

The QBX case supports only psu that are below 140mm long. Also the plug for the psu has to be a certain direction. See Here.

Any suggestions for a psu? The psu needs to be 450 to 650 watt, atleast gold efficiency and be made with good materials, around 100$ .

Any help is appreciated.

If you check photo 16 of my build

You will see that the wrong orientation will work as long as it is not located to the far right. If it is located to the right you would need this extension which I bought and never used..

I would encourage you to go with a SFX psu which will make your life much easier inside this case. Silverstone psu includes a bracket but corsair doesnt . Corsair psu is better and has a better warranty so this would be the best choice and getting the Silverstone adapter RL-PP08B.

Most builds here are using a SFX.

I see you went with the silverstone sfx psu.

If you still have your build, is the psu good? And have you had any problems with it. Thanks for your reply.
