While it will work, its not the greatest of PSU.

If anything, I would recommend going with a Corsair CXM 550W (http://pcpartpicker.com/product/3hkwrH/corsair-power-supply-cp9020102na) which is on special currently.

Also, do you already own the rest of the parts?

Because that motherboard is really expensive for what you get. Something like this would actually be much better and actually cheaper : https://pcpartpicker.com/product/my4NnQ/gigabyte-motherboard-gab150mds3h

Petty much all, i just got a replacement from amazon because i ran into some issues. But if any others come up i can probably return it for money back

Ok then just use as is.

Even with an RX 480 Gaming X from MSI, the TDP is below 300 so the 500W should work but its not the greatest quality unit for its price.
