Go with a 1060 if you don't need more than 1080. Waste of money to get a 1070 imo

I'd recommend going with a gtx 1060 or an rx480 if you plan on getting a 1080p monitor. The monitor I use is the Acer R240HY.

It's a 1080p 60hz monitor and the main reason I got it was because of its thin bezels and it's great for having multiple displays.

This is the monitor I'm looking at if your sure on the 1070 https://pcpartpicker.com/product/sbKhP6/asus-mg248q-240-144hz-monitor-mg248q 1070 will be able to hit the 144 on most games on the higher options
