How to lower the price for first build? (Beginner builder, experienced gamer)

Hey guys,

Trying to put together a part list for building my first PC. Right now I'm trying to keep it under $725. I want to play games like Civilization VI, Total War Warhammer, and Dishonored 2. I don't need to play them on ULTRA or whatever but for a game like Dishonored I want there to be a reason I would buy it on my PC instead of my PS4. I know the i3 is used often to save costs on the CPU but I wanted the four cores. Where else can I save costs without hindering performance? I also do some video editing. Is there anything else I might need for this to work for my needs? Would this work for a beginner PC builder but an experienced gamer? http://pcpartpicker.com/list/2BJ7wV
