What will you be doing with this computer, Any editing or music production. If you are not going to be doing any CPU intensive task then you will only need an i5.

I'm going to be editing videos and photos, also for gaming. This is gonna be a slow build for me, gonna buy the parts over time.

I forgot to mention that the price of the GPU is expensive. If you are willing to spend that much get a GTX 1070 or opt for a cheap GTX 970. There are some 970s that are going for under 300 dollars and the performance is equal or better.
