anyway

I want to build a media production pc, but I lack the funds for something more than a thousand this is the best build I can muster on such a little budget, I would love to hear some suggestion for improvements within the budget (look I know people hate amd as if its the plague but come like seriously...)

I swap some of the items in your build 1. Change the CPU from fx 9590 to fx 8320 due to the fact that fx 9590 is just a really overcloak fx 8320

2.change the mobo to save some money

  1. with the saved money, i managed to squeeze another rx 480 in your build --> 4k here you go

I think that is all about it, but with that amount of money, i strongly suggest that u wait for the zen series from AMD to be release (for CPU) Anyway, best of luck in your build.

the F is that, no money to go Intel, but money for an AIO Corsair 240mm, a 250GB 850EVO, 216$ MOBO, 86$ case and a NEX unit?

B please, get your sh together.

I won't talk you out of it, I want to give you another option:

You're buying into an obsolete platform, if you're happy doing that, have at it...

FWIW I would prolly suggest something like Ada did, but with a better psu. And no cpu cooler as that's redundant with a locked (no overclocking) cpu. And maybe drop the gpu too, built-into-the-cpu gpu is fine for getting a picture out if you're not gaming.

edit. quick benchmark comparison - http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/AMD-FX-9590-vs-Intel-Core-i7-6700/1812vs3515

I didn't see SplatterLords build, that's prolly what I'd get. But maybe drop the gpu again

edit. and use stock TP, paying for "better" TP gets you like a degree or 2 cooler temps, if stock TP is bad, which they're not usually these days,
