It looks like that PSU has a 10 year warranty on it. I'd see about getting a replacement first. I've heard of their 1300W power supplies having issues (especially the platinum rated ones).

No problem ( : I'm curious how it goes. If for some reason they wont replace it I'll help you find another PSU.

Yar, very very well reviewed at jonnyguru (650w review in a few weeks)

I think 650w is just a little light for a 500w draw tho so I'd aim for the 750w, which was considerably cheaper a few days ago but is still $5 less (w/ free ship) than the 650w atm.

Makes me wish I needed a psu with that high watts tbh :D

ask for a different psu. the 1300 G2 is insane overkill for this build and I'm sure you noticed it runs high fan rpm all the time. it was one of their first G2 units and has some little QC issues. ask for a 750P2 or a 750 G2L or anything newer, better and around 550-750 watts..

I asked they said no. I tried to get it downgraded to a 750 wat psu had no luck in that regard. It would have been perfect for my needs for sure. My initial thoughts when putting this computer together was that I was going to run 3 980tis in sli, but I had car issues before I could buy the other gpus. and since settled on the idea of one gpu since I only planned on 144hrzz 1080p displays.
