Build is intended as a 1080 gaming rig for games like Battlefield 1, Fallout, etc. Budget is about 960 USD. Suggestions appreciated.

If you want to do a lot of overclocking, you'll probably want a slightly better cooler, however that one's pretty good for the price it just won't be able to keep things cool as effectively as some of the higher priced stuff.

I recommend just getting 1x8 GB sticks of RAM, as it leaves you with more slots available in the future if you wanted to upgrade later to 16GB for example. Usually the price is the same as well.

You'll want a secondary storage, probably a 1TB hdd. 128GB ssd will barely fit your OS and a few other things on it. Unless you only want one game installed at a time you wont have any room. Your video card and motheboard seem a bit pricey.

Note: there is a slight compatability issue, you won't be able to use all 6 SATA ports, but since there are 6 I doubt you'll need them all unless you plan on getting 4 more hard drives. If your budget is $960, you could also maybe consider getting a gtx 1070 instead if you don't mind spending a little more, or go with a better cooler for more efficient overclocking.

I heard from people that have the H7 will be sufficient for what I need. Either way the motherboard you included has no overclocking support. I got two sticks of 4GB RAM so I can upgrade with two more later on. I'll get a WD or Seagate HDD later on when needed. I do know that the 128 won't be enough. But thanks for your suggestions.
